Solid rubbers are mostly used when it is necessary to obtain the maximum sealing effect. Compared to microporous materials, they do not have a cellular structure, so they can create a stronger barrier between media, but this property is also bought by a higher price and weight. Solid rubbers are also more resistant to mechanical stress and wear than foams and are therefore suitable for applications with high mechanical loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solid rubbers can be supplied in rolls or sheets, separated by talc or PE film, which make subsequent lamination easier. Rubber can also be directly provided with an adhesive layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
